I can't stand shows about people who scramble around and rave to total strangers and authoriteis about UFOs or supernatural happenings, etc without any appreciation of what they sound like or the consequences of doing so.
I mean, who would do that and expect to be taken seriously? It's just not realistic and only happens in the movies. Too often.
I watched the show through and enjoyed the special effects, but had to fast forward through the 'raving' scences.

I'm actually suprised on how there are people saying this is the worst movie ever.
Personally I enjoyed this movie a lot and consider it to be one of the best of 2009 handsdown. As a side note, the airplane crash scene is one of the most intense scenes I've ever seen in a movie, period.

This movie is based on the occult teachings of Gnosticism (not to be confused with Agnosticism).
In Greek the word Gnosis means knowledge. Hence this movie is titled "Knowing".
Gnosticism is the Biblical teachings but backwards. In Gnostic teaching the devil did good by having Adam and Eve eat from the forbidden fruit of knowledge of good and evil because now they can become "gods". Hence at the end of this movie the kids run towards a tree of "knowledge of good and evil".
Only Gnostic or occultist learned people can fully understand other meanings in other symbolism that this movie put out.
I myself are a Christian and deny Gnosticism to be a false teaching of the devil and I know this stuff because I have taken the time to learn about the occult, freemasonry, witchcraft, Catholicism, vamporism, satanism, etc.
